With a heavy head and a heavy heart, Mike and I have decided to keep our books closed for the foreseeable future. On September 29th, Mike underwent a procedure on his neck that removed several discs, bone spurs as well as a fusion using titanium links and screws.
The outstanding news is, the pain, numbness, pins and needles and general weakness in his left arm and hand is gone! The bad news, unfortunately, is that he is having almost equal(not quite, but close), nerve pain running into his right upper arm and forearm. So, that, along with a sore neck from surgery, he is unable to work, probably until the new year, at least. This along with some lingering stroke symptoms that effect memory and
dexterity, this makes even simple things like daily life very difficult, not to mention running a business and creating products.
Mike and I apologize for any inconvenience this may create, but we pray you understand that this company doesn't move forward if he isn't healthy.
We will try to add a few holster options to the website, if they are easily finished, so be sure to check in with us and we're always happy to answer emails!
Please don't hesitate to reach out with prayers, requests, comments, concerns or with any questions you may have. Ultimately, we are here to help because without you all, we would have NOTHING!
Thank you so much for your patience, understanding and loyalty. We cannot tell you all what you mean to us!
Sincerely, Mike & Erika Dehnke
Great news! USPS Priority Mail Shipping is now $4.99 on all orders under 5lbs!!!!
We cannot fully express our appreciation for all the love and support we're getting, as well as how patient folks are being! Right now it's just Mike making holsters, though we will hopefully be hiring at least a part-time assistant here very soon!!
Growing is fun, exciting and scary all at the same time, so thanks for sticking with us!
If you have any questions or concerns prior to placing your order, please don't hesitate to email us at: sales@blacklabelholsters.com as we are here to help!
Here are just a few reasons we HIGHLY recommend carrying a spare(or two) magazines:
Balance and comfort- We find that the weight of at least one spare mag helps to balance out the weight of the gun, no matter where it is carried, even when they are behind opposite hips.
Safety- No one will ever complain of having too much ammunition. Yes, most self-defense shootings average less than 6 or 7 rounds, but that’s the average. Why bet on the low side?
Malfunctions- Roughly 70%(probably more) of malfunctions in semi-auto weapons are ammo and magazine related. Whether that is a dirty/dusty magazine, weak spring, a few bad rounds, it may be better to swap mags than keep going through the tap-rack-bang cycle.
Peace of mind- Having extra ammo on you instead of at home or in the car is never a bad idea, especially when traveling on vacation or just going into town, especially with the current demonstrations and riots we are seeing in large cities.
All Single AIWB/IWB Magazine Carriers Come Standard With A 5-Hole TacWare Tuckable Clip That Fits 1.5" to 1.75" Width Belts. If You Require A Different Attachment Method, Please Contact Us Before Ordering.
Our "flagship" Appendix Inside the Waistband(AIWB)/Inside the Waistband Single Mag, which is still officially nameless, is a low profile Carrier constructed of US-made .080" thickness Kydex. We carefully mold, assemble, finish and pack each holster in our shop, located in Washougal, WA.
We only use industry standard brass eyelets(rivets) along with either black nitride or black oxide coated machine steel screws and backing posts. We do not use aluminum hardware!
Our tuckable belt clips are injection molded in The USA of virtually indestructible Nylon and accept belt sizes up to 1.75" and allow approximately 1/2" of ride height adjustment and a mild cant in either direction.
The use of one main retention screw, along with the two for mounting of the clip, which also help adjust retention, provides superior adjustment allowing each user to tune the draw to their exact specification and preference.
We take great care during the finishing/buffing stages making sure there are no 90* edges, sharp edges, snag points or hot spots that cause discomfort for extended carry sessions.
All carriers are fully ambidextrous allowing the end user to pick which way the belt clip is installed as well as allowing the bullets to point in whichever direction is desired. Additional color options becoming available in the near future and upon request(may be subject to a price increase based on material requested).
In-stock holsters will ship inside of five(5) business days and all others(unless custom combos not shown) will ship inside of 10-15 business days.
If you have an idea for a custom holster or want it made to fit a different mounting platform, please don't hesitate to email us: sales@blacklabelholsters.com
